The spin pitch was a slider at 65-66 mph. The changeup was 70-72 mph and showed fade action.

The approach in the outfield is athletic and appropriate, throwing 78 mph from the outfield to home plate. The glove showed to be solid in the infield and he moved his feet properly. He threw 73 mph across the diamond in the infield. The bat has an exit velocity of 85 mph. The setup is narrow in base and the front foot gains ground as the swing is produced. The path is flat to contact. The hands work free and quickly. On the mound, the fastball sat 72-73 mph with minimal arm side action to it. The arm path is short on the backside and works freely out front. The delivery is repeated and solid in tempo.
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 155-pound, smaller, athletic frame, with room for added weight gains. A left-handed hitter, wider, even, balanced setup. The hands are loose, set at the shoulders with a flat bat. The lower half is under control, small stride, hands and weight back on contact. The swing is flat through the zone, middle of the field approach. The exit velocity was clocked at 80 mph and ran a 7.60 sixty-yard dash. From the outfield, moves well, arm action is clean, works with minimal effort. The arm was clocked at 74 mph. Off the mound, left-handed works from the full motion. The delivery is athletic, inline direction, spin off on release, could stay through it a tick longer. The arm action is clean, fastball reached 74 mph. Mixed in a small slider at 62 mph, needs more fastball hand speed.

Brayden Bodio: LHP/1B, (2027) Uncommitted, MA. 5-foot-8, 138-pound lean athletic build. Projectable and athletic during batting practice, Bodio's best exit velocity was 78 mph. (63.6 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, used a loose flat swing plane and level finish. Through his round he found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Pull side aggressive approach. Projectable and athletic from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 73 mph; had developing hands, a clean natural exchange, and developing consistent footwork. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Used a short arm action and a high ¾ slot. Capable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with falling off shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 67-69 mph; had running action and arm side control. (Max spin 2047; Avg 1997). His curveball (57-62) shows sweeping action and glove side around the zone command. (Max spin 2503; Avg 2358). Threw a straight changeup (64-65) that showed sporadic control.
