Good looking right-handed hitting catcher, showed an excellent skill set behind the plate. Pop time of 1.90 and he threw 79 mph from behind the dish. The receiving is soft and he secures the catch appropriately. The footwork during the transfer needs to be more direct, helping his accuracy on his throws down to the 2 bag. The tools to catch at the next level are all there. The bat certainly has plus life in it, tee exit velocity of 90 mph. Sets up with even feet and a relaxes hand approach. The path is simple and direct, would like to see if flatten a bit to contact. Needs to let the ball travel and stay in his legs better, but I like the swing and quickness of the hands. Ran a 4.52 on his dig to first base.
