Caleb Boyko: 1B/LHP, (2023) Williston Northampton, MA. 6-foot-2, 185-pound athletic projectable build. Projectable and capable at the plate, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. (69.6 mph bat speed average). (21.0 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a tight load, then used a small stride. Has developing bat speed, uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Had loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Projectable and capable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 75 mph; has a clean natural exchange, soft developing hands, and developing athletic feet. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. Had consistent accuracy to the bag with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.49. Capable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action while showing developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher who shows some effort. During his delivery, balance point is tall with on-line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 68-74 mph; shows running action and command arm side around the zone. Showed sweeping action and glove side command on his curveball (50-52).

6-foot-1, 165-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and outfielder. The feet work well around the bat at first, as he is a big target. The glove is solid and he threw 70 mph during the infield portion of the workout. He is a good athlete who runs well so kicking out to the outfield should be simple transition. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 79 mph, physical strength gains are needed. The setup is even and the front foot is open to start. The foot dives into the plate as the swing is produced. The hands work freely and the path needs to be flattened to produce more authority at contact. The projection is very good. I like how the bat works.

6-foot-1, 165-pound left-handed hitting first baseman. Solid showing at his first at bat, he is a good looking player. The frame projects immensely, very good follow. Ran a 4.63 home to first at the workout. The feet and glove are solid around the bag, as he showed a good feel for the position. Threw 70 mph across the diamond with clean arm action. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 77 mph. The setup is wide in base, bottom half under control throughout. The path to the ball is a tick long but the hands work well to and through the ball. Strength in the frame is imperative in the coming years. Big follow for me.
