Williams is a 5-foot-9, 177 pound left-handed pitching prospect. Williams uses simple movements to get into a balanced position over the rubber. He remains balanced as he gathers at the top of the delivery. The hands separate well, using a long, over-the-top arm-swing to deliver to the plate. His direction stays in line with home plate, resulting in consistency with his location. The fastball sits 71-74 MPH, with nice downward tilt. He featured a harder breaking pitch that sits 67-70 MPH, with side spin. The change up is a good looking pitch that sits 68-69 MPH. The action mirrored the fastball and the arm speed stayed consistent.
Williams showed arm talent. The high arm slot makes the fastball heavy. Once he develops the secondary pitches, his ability to change planes should make it tough on hitters.
