McGrail is a 6-foot-1, 195 pound left-handed pitching prospect. The rising senior works out of a simple, direct delivery. He attacks hitters with a short ¾ arm slot that produces late run on a fastball that sits 77-80 MPH. He also showed the feel for a slider at 69-71 MPH. The delivery works and he stays online. The tempo is solid and he repeats. He lifts and coils at the top of the lift, which helps aid the usage of the bottom half. 

6-foot-1, 195-pound left-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 78-79 mph with arm side action to the pitch. The spin pitch was a slider and sat 70-72 mph, solid in shape and depth. The changeup is a developing pitch for him. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is repeated in height and tempo as he makes his way into foot strike. The changeup is still developing, sitting 73-74 mph. The delivery is online and the slot is 3/4 with deception. The tracking of the front shoulder is solid as he stays closed during the stride. The lift is athletic with a small coil at the top. Showed a clean arm and a good feel for repeating. The addition of depth to the slider will make it easier to get swings and misses.
