Cole Donato: RHP/OF, (2022) out of Walpole, MA. is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound two-way prospect. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 91 MPH. Donato hits out of a balanced, athletic stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. He uses a short stride to trigger a swing that takes an uphill path through the hitting zone. In the outfield, Donato was 87 MPH on his throws from the outfield. As he transitioned through the ground balls, he showed soft hands, a natural exchange, smooth footwork and showed a loose arm . In the 60-yard dash, he recorded a time of 7.3. On the mound, Donato worked out of a simple delivery. He uses short steps to get balanced at the top before heading down the mound. He creates a good line with home plate and uses a quick, ¾ arm slot to produce a fastball that came in at 85-86 MPH with sinking action. His changeup was a good pitch (80-81 MPH) with fading action and showed a hard slider (74-76 MPH) with tight action.
