Started in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a small stride. Bat speed is quick developing, displays a loose simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Created loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Projectable and athletic from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 75 mph; showed soft developing hands, a clean natural exchange, and athletic developing feet. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. Cole Nussey: OF/RHP, (2024) out of David Prouty, MA. is a 5-foot-10, 150-pound outfield prospect. In the box, Nussey had a max exit velocity of 85 MPH. He sets up in a wide, balanced stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. A toe tap triggers a swing that takes a flat path to and through the hitting zone. He stays on plane through contact and remains balanced. Defensively, Nussey recorded a velocity of 76 MPH on his throws to home plate.
