Cole Viveiros: RHP/SS, (2027) Dighton Rehoboth, MA. 5-foot-6, 135-pound slim build. Capable during batting practice, Viveiros had an exit velocity of 75 mph. Begins in an athletic wide stance with a handsy load, then uses a small stride. Had a flat loose swing plane, developing bat speed and level finish. He found a few barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Capable while in the infield, made throws up to 73 mph; has a natural exchange, developing consistent feet, and developing soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a ¾ slot. Capable on the mound, showed a ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action with developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Has an athletic, balance point and in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 71-74 mph; has running sinking action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 2057; Avg 1992). His curveball (60-63) showed glove side control and sweeping action. (Max spin 2057; Avg 1982). His changeup (67-69) has gradual fading action and arm side control.
