2/27/21

Stone is a 6-foot-2, 180 pound right-handed hitting catching prospect. He hits out of a wide, squatty stance. The hands are set close to his face prior to the pitch being delivered. His load is short before whipping the bat-head through the hitting zone on a direct, flat path. He showed pop during his round to the pull side and max exit velocity of 87 MPH.

Defensively, Stone had a pop time range of 2.13-2.25 seconds and a velocity of 74 MPH behind the plate. His initial set up is square with the glove in the center of the chest. As he transitions to throw, his footwork is good. He gets his hip and shoulders in line with second base. The ball exchange is clean, allowing the arm to work freely. He finishes over the front side in line with second base.

Exit Velocity- 87 mph
Catching Velocity- 74 mph
