Damon Alexander: OF/RHP, (2022) out of Dexter Southfield, MA is a 6-foot, 190-pound two-way prospect. At the plate, Alexander had an impressive exit velocity of 97 MPH. He begins in an athletic, balanced stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. He loads well to the back side before taking the bat head on a quick, uphill path through the hitting zone. During his round, he showed the ability to drive the ball gap to gap with quick hands. In the outfield, Alexander was 84 MPH on his throws to home plate. He also showed soft hands, athletic feet and a clean exchange. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.03. On the mound, Alexander uses an up-tempo delivery, with simple movements. He gets to a good position at the top, the shoulders are in line and he lands square. The arm works out of a quick, higher ¾ slot producing a fastball that sits 78-82 MPH with late arm side run. He also mixed in a tight curveball (66-68 MPH), feel for a changeup (72-73 MPH) and a knuckleball (66-68 MPH) with good action.
