Damon Pause: RHP/3B, (2024) Taconic, MA. 5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic lean build. Athletic and projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 93 mph. (73.4 mph bat speed average). (20.6 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced narrow stance with a controlled load, then used a closed stride. Had an uphill loose swing plane, developing quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable athletic in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 82 mph; had athletic developing footwork, soft sure hands, and a developing clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Had a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.49. On the mound, curveball (68-70 mph). Sat with his fastball at 80-82 mph. (Max spin 2001; Avg 1885).
