Kearney is a strong 5-foot-10, 175 pound prospect. The right-handed hitting corner infielder/outfielder had an exit velocity of 78 mph off the tee. He hits out of a wide base, with the hands in a relaxed position just off the back shoulder. The transfer of weight to the back leg works off a knee slide and the hands push back into a strong launch position. The bat-head whips through the hitting zone on a flat path and he stays on plane well through contact. 

In the outfield, he showed a clean arm-swing on his throws, recording a velocity of 76 mph. The feet were light as he moved through the ground ball and transitioned well into the throwing position. He created a direct line with the target and worked through the play with a good finish.

Over at third base, he again showed light feet and a fluid arm-swing, as he recorded a velocity of 73 mph across the diamond. He broke down behind the ground ball in a balanced fielding position, with the glove relaxed out in front. He transitioned through the ball well and in a direct line with the target. He finishes through the play and keeps the same direct line with the target.

5-foot-8, 160-pound corner infielder. Threw 64 mph across the infield. The glove is soft and the prep steps need to be smoothed out to aid the throwing. More likely suited for first base than third base, but it is still early. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 73 mph. Sets up with his feet wide, minimal movement on the bottom half as he swings the bat. The hands work, the path can be flattened to contact. The front foot is picked up and put down as the ball approaches. He is young so development and physical strength will important to the process.
