8/15/18

6-foot, 180-pound right-handed pitcher. Made a tremendous amount of strides in his pitching and has turned himself into a Division 1 prospect. The delivery has minimal crossfire to the feet and the slot is ¾. The arm works clean and fast. The lift is repeated, small coil at the top of the lift. The tracking of the front shoulder is done well. The fastball touched 83 mph, much more in the tank as the arm is fast. The slider is frisbee style, correct in shape, sits at 72-73 mph. The changeup is a work in progress at 70-71 mph. Plenty to like about his arm, its a good one, not really sure how he hasn’t found a home yet. Going to pitch with velocity and the secondary pitch is advanced.

5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed pitcher and third baseman. Like the arm on the mound, the ball comes out well. Positionally, threw 76 mph across the diamond out of an easy throwing motion. Good carry to the ball. The glove is solid and the foot work to and through the ball is athletic. Ran a 7.47 sixty at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 85 mph. The set up wide with his feet, uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches him. The path is long to contact, the extension through the ball is very good. Does make a solid attempt to stay  inside the ball at contact. On the mound, the fastball touched 80 mph, bounced around often. The spin pitch touched 66 mph, needs additional fastball hand speed added to it.  The changeup is a work in progress, as it is still developing. The delivery has crossfire to it, limiting his extension. The lift is athletic, small coil at the top. Pitches off the top of the rubber. The arm works well, plus ¾  and there is bunch more velocity in the arm, needs to have better direction to tap into it. Prospect on the mound with minor changes.
Tee Exit Velocity- 85 mph
INF Velocity- 76 mph
