6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed pitcher. The arm is real and he has a chance to make another jump in the coming year. The fastball touched 89 mph and he showed a decent feel for the spin pitch. The changeup is a developing pitch for him. The delivery is quick in tempo and he repeats the process. The direction to the plate needs to be aligned through the back foot.

The movements are athletic and he showed a small amount of forward lean to the plate during the process. The body projects and there is more in the tank. The fastball sat 87-89 mph with arm side run and sink to it. The spin pitch was a slider, 74-76 mph and good in shape. The arm speed is aggressive on both pitches. The changeup is a developing pitch for him.

Capable projectable at the plate, Fortes best exit velocity was 79 mph. (62.0 mph bat speed average). (18.6 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced open stance with a low load, then used a small stride. Has an uphill loose swing plane and developing bat speed. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Projectable and athletic in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 83 mph; has developing hands, athletic developing feet, and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were developing athletically and he fields the ball out front. From a high ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the base with a quick arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.87. Projectable athletic on the mound, showed above average developing arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Falling off shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 79-80 mph; showed running action and control arm side around the zone. (Max spin 1902; Avg 1784). His curveball (66-68) had sweeping action and glove side around the zone command. (Max spin 1919; Avg 1886). His changeup (70-73) had arm side control and gradual fading action.

On the mound, he shows a clean delivery, repeated leg lift and direction to the plate. The arm is quick and long. The fastball has good life and he shows the makings of a solid breaking ball.  At the plate, the setup is wide, small pick and put down of the front foot to initiate the swing. The hands are clean, drop some during the load and the swing is uphill. He shows good athleticism in the outfield and a strong arm
