Crafty left-handed pitcher who came to an indoor workout months ago. The delivery has low effort to it as the arm does the work and the hand maneuvers the ball. Windmills his front arm, pulling his direction away from the the catcher, and the path is short on the back half. Pitches off his changeup as its very good, sitting at 70 mph. It is a plus pitch. The breaking ball is sweepy, sitting at 64 mph, needs more hand speed to it. The fastball has arm side run to it, sitting 76-77 mph. Has feel for what he is doing, as he changes pace and tries to locate his fastball. Also showed an above average pickoff move

Showed a clean arm swing during the workout, with a good feel for his body and delivery. The slot is lower than 3/4 and has deception to it. The fastball was up to 77 but there is more in the tank as he is just getting back into a throwing routine. The fastball has arm side action to it. The breaking ball is sweepy and has good shape, touching 68. The changeup has the right action and fade to it, sat at 67. The delivery is repeated. Pulls the front side off his target causing his ball hand to get wide at release. Less pull of the front elbow would help him get his ball hand out further and increase his velocity. I like the deception to the delivery.
