PROCASE

6-foot, 180-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Showed solid game at the event. Ran a 7.11 sixty on the laser. The movements are athletic and quick. Threw 87 mph across the diamond with ease and accuracy. The glove is soft, footwork through the ball is done appropriately. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 93 mph. Sets up wide his feet and uses his hands well to and through the ball. Small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. Has lift in the path, should hit for a little power in college. Did not pitch at the event but has legit arm speed on the mound. Guy to see pitch if he chooses to do so as he develops.

6-foot, 170-pounds middle infielder and right-handed pitcher. A primary infielder who went to the Futures with us two years ago. His game continues to develop nicely. Ran a 3.76 thirty at the event. The glove is solid in the infield, movements are athletic and quick. Can play all 3 positions in the infield, throwing 88 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 94 mph to it. Sets up with his feet wide, front foot open and hands relaxed. The front foot closes as the ball approaches. The swing is strong and with life, as he now punishes the ball. On the mound, fastball touched 86 mph with life. The spin pitch is slurvy at 75 mph. The changeup is hard, sitting at 81, needs a grip fix. Excellent looking prospect.

We have seen Dylan very much in the last 2 years and he continues to grow and progress. Really throws, 79 mph across the infield, with much more in the tank. Shows a flashy glove and the ability to handle the pivot. Ran a 7.3 60-yard dash and showed improve that as he matures. The frame is outstanding as he has wide shoulders and room to fill. With weight work, he could fill out immensely. At the plate, the hands work well but the path to the ball is still long. Its shorter than the summer but still needs better direction of start to finish. Tee exit velocity of 82 mph. Hits out of a slightly open stance and closes it as the ball comes to him. The ball is whipped easily and he steps into the swing.

8/5/15
Slick middle-infielder who shows versatility and tools for the game.  Played all three positions at the event and showed fine with all three. Best suited for second base, but can move as he is athletic. Ran a 7.3 and showed a 79 mph arm path across the diamond. The glove plays and his footwork around the bag is good. The path is a bit long but doable. The bat has life to it, needs to be shortened down but its loose. Tee exit velocity of 88. The setup is even and he is pull conscious. The frame needs strength and the approach at the plate needs to be spread out.  I like his versatility and his game, follow.

2/16/15
Smooth right-handed hitting middle infielder. Glove is confident and above average for his age. Throwing is simple and 71 across the diamond with minimal effort at this point. Will be an above average defender. The running needs to improve but its free and loose, ran a 7.8. The bat shows plus bat speed out of a wide base set up. The tee exit velocity is 82. The bottom half has minimal movement and keeps him in position to hit. Good looking young prospect for sure.
