5-foot-11, 170 pound right handed hitting infielder.  The feet are active and get into a good fielding position.  The glove works.  The arm is long and clean.  The bat had an exit velocity of 80 mph. The set up was tall and athletic. The hands moved well into the load position.  The stride was short with good direction.  The path was flat and hit off a firm front side.  Good extension through the swing. On the mound, the fastball was up to 73 mph with arm side run.  The breaking ball was a good pitch at 60-63 mph.  The spin and plane were good.  Delivery was athletic and on line with the plate.  Balanced on the backside before driving toward home plate.  The arm path was good and finished through the pitch.  With an athletic delivery and clean arm path he should continue to develop.  I’m looking forward to following him this upcoming season.

Tee Exit Velocity- 80 mph

6-foot, 170-pound right-handed pitcher and first baseman. On the mound, the fastball touched 68 mph, true in spin. The breaking pitch is 59 mph, needs more fastball hand speed to the pitch. The changeup is a work in progress, sitting at 62 mph. The delivery is online with his feet, slot above ¾. The arm works clean, as the lift is repeated and deliberate in pace. Positionally, ran a 4.59 down the line on his dig to first base. The glove is average at first and the footwork can be cleaned up around the bag. Threw 65 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 79 mph. Sets up with his feet even, hands relaxed. The front foot is picked up and put down as the ball approaches. The path is clean to the ball, after a small bat wrap. Uses a 1-hand finish after contact.

5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitting first baseman. Threw 64 mph in the infield portion of the workout. The glove is soft, and the prep steps need to continue to develop. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. The stance is even in base, and the posture is upright. The path is clean to the ball, and the frame needs strength added to the body. On the mound, the fastball sits at 67 mph. The spin pitch is 58 mph, big in shape. The changeup is 63 mph. The delivery is online with his feet, the arm comes at the hitter out of a plus ¾ slot. The front shoulder rolls of track prior to getting the strike zone. Getting the front side under control is the key to the development on the mound. Ran a 7.66 sixty at the event.
