Eoin Morrissey: 2B/C, (2022) Middlesex, MA. 5-foot-11, 160-pound slim athletic frame. Projectable and  confident during batting practice, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 84 mph. (60.65 mph bat speed average). (18.65 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a short stride. Had quick efficient bat speed, flat loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. In his round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Athletic  and capable while in the infield, displayed throws up to 69 mph; has a clean exchange, soft developing hands, and consistent developing feet. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.16.

Defense:  (IF) Soft developing hands, consistent developing footwork, clean exchange. Athletic capable.  Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. 

Arm: 69 mph infield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.16 (60-yard).

5-foot-11, 155-pound left-handed hitting catcher and second baseman. He ran a 7.1 sixty at the event. The skill set is improving as he had his best event yet. The receiving behind the dish is solid as he shows soft hands. He threw 68 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.16. The feet work well during the transfer. The approach at second base is solid and he moves his feet through the baseball. He threw 69 mph across the diamond at the event. The bat has an exit velocity of 85 mph. The setup is even in base and he takes a small step to the baseball as the swing is produced. The path is flat to slightly uphill as he makes contact with the baseball. He had a couple hits in game play.

Morrissey is a 5-foot-11, 155 pound left-handed hitting catching/infield prospect. He hits out of an athletic set up, with the hands in a good position. The load is short, allowing him to get into a good hitting position. The bat path is direct to and through the zone and produced an exit velocity of 87.2 MPH. He also showed some foot-speed with a 6.97 second sixty

In the infield, Morrissey showed light feet, good hands and put himself into a good fielding position. As he transitioned through the ground ball, the hips got in line with the target and he showed a short arm swing. He finishes through the play in line with the target with a velocity of 66 MPH.

Behind the plate, his set up is good. The feet are square, with the glove in a good position. As he transitions to throw to second base, the feet move well and the hips get in line with the target. The ball exchange is good and he shows a quick arm. The velocity was 69 MPH, with a pop time range of 2.2-2.35 seconds.

5-foot-11, 150-pound left-handed hitting catcher and infielder. The skill set behind the dish is solid as the feet move athletically. The glove is soft and he receives well. He threw 71 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.15. The approach in the infield is athletic and online, he threw 69 mph during the infield portion. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 76 mph. The setup is even in base, minimal usage of the bottom half as it is primarily a no stride approach. The hands work free and clean. The path has lift to it as he tries to elevate the ball. The addition of physical strength is imperative to the position.
