Harris is a big, strong 6-foot-3, 205 pound right-handed hitting two-way prospect. He hits out of a square stance, with the hands relaxed off the back shoulder. The load is short and allows him to get into a strong position to hit. The swing shows pop, his hands are quick, producing an exit velocity of 92 MPH. Harris uses a flat path to and through the hitting zone, consistently making loud contact. He finishes through contact well and remains balanced.
Defensively, Harris was 76 MPH on his throws across the infield. His feet are light and he moves well laterally. The hands are soft as he transitions through the ground ball and uses a long arm-swing to get the ball across the infield. He finishes through the play, maintaining a good line with his target.
On the mound, Harris uses a high leg kick to get balanced at the top. He separates into a long, quick arm-swing. As he heads down the mound, he falls a bit to the first base side, causing him to leave a few pitches to the arm side. His fastball sits 79-81 MPH with some run to the arm side. The slider has hard bite at 64-66 MPH. The change-up was 71-73 MPH and looks to still be developing.
