6-foot,190-pound right-handed hitting catcher and pitcher. He ran a 6.95 sixty at the event. His skill set has improved dramatically in the last year. The skill set behind the dish is very good, he threw 76 mph down to second base with a pop time of 1.93. The feet and transfer are done extremely well, as his throws were accurate. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 90 mph. The setup is narrow in base, front foot slightly open to start. The foot is closed down after a small pick up and put down. The path to the ball is simple and clean, fast hands and the frame is physically strong. On the mound, the fastball sat 82-84 mph, minimal arm side action to the pitches. The spin pitch is 69-71, solid in shape. Showed a developing changeup at 71-72 mph. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4. The post foot is on top of the rubber, needs to be in front, flat to start. Showed an athletic lift, forward lean and clean arm. He is athletic enough to pitch but I really like him behind the dish. Good prospect and player.

5-foot-11, 190-pound, solid strong athletic frame. The shoulders are sloped, back is wide, already filling out, a well proportioned athlete with strength throughout. A right-handed hitting catcher, defensive skills are advanced, threw 75 mph from home to second with a pop time of 1.94-2.06, all throws were on or close to bag. The hands are soft and strong on the catch, gets behind the baseball, and shows feel and strength on receiving the low ball. The dirt ball reads are anticipated, showing quickness getting back on his feet. Solid flow in transfer, all one piece to second base. At the plate, wider setup, feet are even, hands are loaded up and strong, bat having tilt to it. The swing is flat through the zone, higher finish. The approach is more to the pull side, took a solid round of batting practice, collected a tee exit velocity of 85 mph. Solid looking catcher, advanced behind the plate, with the ability to produce at the plate, runs well for a catcher. Good follow.
