Hunter Normandin: SS/RHP, (2024) Tantasqua, MA. 5-foot-10, 160-pound lean athletic frame. Capable and athletic in the box, Normandin clocked an exit velocity of 90 mph. (70.1 mph bat speed average). (20.6 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced wide stance with a high load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, used an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Athletic and capable in the infield, his best throw was registered at 78 mph; showed a clean natural exchange, developing athletic feet, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Had a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag.  (Max spin ; Avg ). 

Hunter Normandin: SS/RHP, (2024) out of Tantasqua, MA. is a talented 5-foot-10, 160-pound two-way prospect. During batting practice, Normandin recorded an exit velocity of 84 MPH with a (63.8 mph bat speed average) and (18.7 mph hand speed average). He starts in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. A smooth load and a short stride trigger a swing that takes a simple, flat path and shows evident bat speed. He stayed in the middle of the field and remained balanced throughout. In the infield, Normandin’s throws across the diamond were up to 77 MPH and showed he had athletic, smooth footwork, a clean fluid exchange, and sure hands, while working through the ground balls. He moves well laterally and uses a quick, high ¾ slot with a quick arm slot. On the mound, Normandin uses a long, over-the-top arm swing to produce a fastball that sat 76-77 MPH with some late tilt. The delivery is simple, easy and  in line as he works down the mound. He lands square with an athletic finish. Normandin also features a curveball (62-63 MPH) with a tight shape and a fading changeup (60-61 MPH).

Normandin is a talented 5-foot-9, 131 pound right-handed hitting infield prospect. He hits out of a wide, slightly open stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. The load begins with a short leg lift to stack the weight onto the back side. The bat-path is flat to and through the hitting zone. Normandin shows quick hands and the ability to drive the ball gap to gap. He registered a max exit velocity of 82 MPH during this event.

Defensively, Normandin was 73 MPH on his throws from the infield. His actions are athletic as he moves to get into a fundamental fielding position. The hands are soft transitioning through the ground ball and into the throwing position. He creates a good line with the target and shows a quick arm. 

On the mound, Normandin has a nice fluidity and tempo with his delivery. The movements are simple and allow him to be balanced throughout. He gets to a good balance position and separates well at the top. The arm-swing is long, loose and creates some late sink on a fastball that sits 73-75 MPH. The breaking ball is 55-56 MPH with some inconsistent spin. He also showed a good change-up at 65-66 MPH.

Normandin is a talented young two-way prospect. The actions in the middle of the diamond are silky, there’s arm talent on the mound and the bat plays.

5-foot-9, 130 -pound right-handed hitting middle infielder and pitcher. Ran a 7.28 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is solid, would like to see his feet a bit more active. The arm showed at 69 mph across the diamond. The set up is wide in base at the plate. The front foot steps into the swing as the ball approaches. The hands work and the frame needs to add additional strength to it. Shows a good feel for the game and his best days are in front of him. On the mound, the fastball sat 70-72 mph with minimal arm side run. The spin pitch is 58 mph and big in shape. The changeup is a work in progress. The delivery is online, small coil at the top prior to making his way into foot strike. The arm works clean and the direction of the front shoulder to the plate needs to stay online longer. There is good tempo in the delivery.

5-foot-9, 122-pound right-handed pitcher and infielder. Ran a 7.81 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is solid, as he needs to continue to work the feet through the ball. The hands work and are soft. Threw 67 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. The setup is wide in base, front foot gains ground to the ball as it approaches. The swing path is flat and clean to contact. Solid hand path. The arm works on the mound, and he shows a good feel for his delivery The addition of strength will aid the development of his game. Solid prospect who continues to improve.

INF Velocity- 67 mph

5-foot-5, 115-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder and pitcher. Ran a 8.8 sixty at the event. Threw 64 mph during the infield portion of the workout. The feet are active and he worked through the ball. The movements are athletic and appropriate. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 62 mph. The setup is wide in base, the front foot steps into the swing as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is clean, needs additional strength as he matures. On the mound, the fastball showed life, sat at 64-65 mph. The spin pitch is 55-56 mph, solid in shape and form. The changeup is a work in progress, sitting at 56-57 mph. The delivery is online and above 3/4 in slot, The arm works free and the frame projects, threw the ball well.
