2/20/16

5-foot-7, 155-pound athletic body frame. A right-handed two-way guy, off the mound has simple repeatable delivery. Worked out of a high ¾ slot, direction with lower half is in line, tempo of the motion could be picked up. Fastball was clocked at 75-78 mph, downhill, located down in zone to both sides. Curveball has 12/6 break, was thrown at 66-69 mph, change was at 66-70 mph. Showed the ability to throw all three for strikes, if motion can accelerate a little more ball will come out quicker. Offensively, hits with a wide, open back to even stance, hands are set in good hitting position. Uses a small controlled stride for timing. The path, has a small arm bar, creates good bat speed through zone, has a high two handed finish. The tee exit velocity was 82 mph, with some life, middle of the field approach. Defensively, solid feet, attacks under control, hands are soft, feet and hands work well together. The arm is clean, was clocked at 76 mph, kept momentum moving after toss. Worked both sides of the bag well. Ran a 4.50 from home to first.

12/6/14
5-foot-6,145-pound, right-handed pitcher and infielder. Threw 73 mph across the diamond and showed a nice glove. The arm works out of a ¾ slot and has carry to it. Ran a 5.53 and had a tee exit velocity of 76 mph. The swing was loose and his bottom half set up was even. The need for strength to handle the barrel is there. On the mound, he touched 75 mph out of a simple and repeatable delivery. Spun a 12/6 breaking ball at 64 mph that had good depth to it. Changeup was 67 mph with the makings of the right spin. The delivery is repeatable with a little bit of head movement to it and some effort.
