Jack Cronin: LHP, (2024) St. John's Prep, Danvers, MA. 6-foot-2, 195-pound projectable frame. Projectable on the mound, used a consistent arm action with a high ¾ arm angle, while showing developing arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. During his delivery, balance point is tall with on-line shoulders. Lands closed with a balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-78 mph; shows running action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 1894; Avg 1818). His curveball (58-60) showed sweeping action and glove side around the zone command. (Max spin 1672; Avg 1631). Had arm side control and gradual fading action on his changeup (67-69). His slider (62-64) has glove side around the zone command and slurvey action. (Max spin 1617; Avg 1585).
