Jack Cropper: RHP/2B, (2023) Norwood, MA. Northeastern Commit, 5-foot-11, 180-pound athletic slim build. From a high ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the base with a very quick loose arm action. Above average on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a very quick loose arm action while showing lightning arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. During his delivery, the balance point is tall with on line shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 91-94 mph; has sinking action and control arm side around the zone with hard movement. (Max spin 2010; Avg 1789). His 11/5 curveball (73-76) shows slurvey action and glove side around the zone control. (Max spin 2081; Avg 1895). His changeup (80-82) shows arm side control and fading action.

Body: 5-foot-11, 180-pound athletic slim build.

Arm:  Very quick loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Pitching: Above average. Up-tempo delivery, easy effort. High ¾ arm angle, lightning arm speed, very quick loose arm action. Athletic balance point, in line shoulders, lands closed, an athletic finish.

FB: T94. 91-94 mph. (Max spin 2010;  Avg 1789). Arm side around the zone accuracy, sinking action, hard movement. 

CB: 73-76 mph. Glove side around the zone command, slurvey action, 11/5 shape. (Max spin 2081; Avg 1895). 

CH: 80-82 mph. Arm side control, fading action.

5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder and right-handed pitcher. He ran a 7.35 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is athletic and online as he works his feet through the baseball. The glove showed to be reliable and he threw 85 mph across the diamond. The bat has an exit velocity of 89 mph. The setup is even in base and the front foot steps into the swing as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is slightly uphill through contact and he shows the ability to find the barrel. On the mound, the fastball sat 85-87 mph with arm side action to the fastball. The spin pitch was 70-71 mph and can still be shortened for more swing and miss to the pitch. The changeup is a developing pitch. The delivery is solid in tempo, above 3/4 in slot and repeated. The arm is quick and clean out front. The tracking of the front shoulder can improve as he matures in age. 

Exit Velocity- 89 mph

INF Velocity- 85 mph

5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder and pitcher. He ran a 7.47 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is athletic and active with the feet. The glove is soft and he moves well through the fielding of the baseball. He threw 85 mph across the diamond. The bat has an exit velocity of 90 mph. The setup is even in base and the front foot steps into the swing. The path is slightly uphill and loose through contact with the baseball. The hands work well. On the mound, the fastball sat 84-85 mph. The slider was 72-73 mph and can be tightened as he matures. The changeup was 75-76 mph. The delivery is online and slightly above 3/4 in height. The lift is solid in tempo and he tracks ok at times. The arm is quick and clean. He is a very good prospect and athlete.

Exit Velocity- 90 mph

INF Velocity- 85 mph

5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and pitcher. He really had a good day at the event as he is a good young prospect. Ran a 7.9 sixty at the event. In the infield, the feet work through the ball he threw 82 mph across the diamond. The hands work softly with the glove. The foot speed will have to improve is he wants to stay in the middle of the field. The bat has an exit velocity of 88 mph. The setup is even in base, and the front foot gains ground during the swing, The path is clean and he handles the barrel. On the mound, the fastball sat 84-86 mph with arm side action to it. The spin pitch is 66-67 mph, big in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch. The delivery is quick in tempo, the feet are online and the slot is above 3/4. The direction of the top half to the plate can be cleaned up as he spins off prior to release. Good 2023 prospect. 

Exit Velocity- 88 mph

INF Velocity- 82 mph
