Jack Salafia: OF/RHP, (2026) St. Marks, MA. 5-foot-11, 155-pound. (62.5 mph bat speed average). (19.2 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced quiet stance with a quick load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, displayed a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 77 mph; has a natural exchange, soft hands, and consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Jack Salafia: OF/RHP, (2026) Fessenden, MA. 5-foot-7, 110-pound lean athletic build. Projectable and athletic during batting practice, Salafia had an exit velocity of 82 mph. (62.3 mph bat speed average). (18.9 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced open stance with a small load, then uses a closed stride. Has developing bat speed, loose simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Created a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Projectable athletic in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 73 mph; showed developing soft hands, developing athletic feet, and a clean natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.06 at the event.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

I like the fundamentals of this 5-foot-7, 110 pound right-handed hitting infielder. He had a tee exit velocity of 64 mph.  He hits out of an athletic, square stance.  The hands are relaxed off the back shoulder.  The bat-path is direct to and through the hitting zone. This swing is fluid and with his long limbs, he gets some leverage with his swing.

Defensively, he was 62 mph across the diamond.  The feet are active before the ball is hit.  Once the ball is hit, the feet are deliberate in attacking the ground ball.  He breaks down well and gets into a balanced fielding position.  The hands are soft as he fields and starts to transition to the throwing motion.  He gets square to his target and finishes through his throws in line with the target.

On the mound, he threw out of the stretch.  The movements were controlled and deliberate getting to the balance point.  Once there, he separated his hands in a strong position and broke down the mound in line with home plate.  The fastball was 56-59 mph out of a high, over the top arm slot.  

Tee Exit Velocity- 64 mph

INF Velocity- 62 mph
