5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder and catcher. The approach in the infield was appropriate and the glove showed to be soft. The arm worked, throwing 82 mph during the infield work. The bat had an exit velocity of 92 mph. The setup at the dish athletic in base and he showed a toe tap for timing. The hands work and he favored the pull side of the field.

Jack Welch: 3B/C, (2026) Deerfield Academy, MA. 175-pound solid build. Projectable in the box, Welch had an exit velocity of 87 mph. (66.5 mph bat speed average). (17.0 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced wide stance with a controlled load, then used a small stride. Had developing bat speed, loose flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 76 mph; showed a natural exchange, developing hands, and developing consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. From a high ¾ slot, showed decent accuracy to the bag with a consistent arm action.

Jack Welch: 3B/C, (2026) Deerfield Academy, MA. 5-foot-10, 175-pound solid frame. Projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 88 mph. (68.0 mph bat speed average). (20.6 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a low load, then used a short stride. Has quick developing bat speed, uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. During his round he produced loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 76 mph; has developing feet, a natural exchange, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Showed a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.87.
