5-foot-9, 150-pound right-handed hitting catcher. I love to watch him play, he is into every pitch. He showed such a good spirit at the event and is fun to be around. He ran a 7.0 sixty at the event. The receiving is excellent as he secures the catch and the glove is soft. The transfer can improve with added arm strength. He needs to use the off-season to strengthen the arm. He threw 71 mph down to second base with a pop time of 1.99. The bat has an exit velocity of 86 mph. The setup is wide in base and he steps into the swing. The path starts low and he finishes even through the ball. The hands work free and clean. The addition of strength will aid the development of his game.

Lavoie is a 5-foot-8, 145 pound prospect.  The right-handed hitting catcher/infielder had a exit velocity of 79 mph off the tee.  The stance is balanced, with the hands in a good position. The load is short and gets him into a good hitting position.  The bat-path is short to and through contact, with his hand-speed on full display. During the event, he showed the ability to spray hard line drives to all fields.

Behind the plate, the set-up was balanced with the glove relaxed in the mid-line.  The feet are light and quick as he moved into the position to throw. He is able to get the hips and shoulders in line with second base.  The arm showed well, as he was 71 mph at this event and he finishes over the front leg.

In the infield, he was 75 mph across the diamond.  The feet are active pre-pitch and move well as he works to get into the fielding position.  He breaks down behind the ball with the glove out in front. He transitions well through the ground ball and into the throwing position.  He is in line with the target and the arm-swing is quick.
