The skill set behind the dish is solid as he moves athletically and shows feel for the position. He threw 67 mph with a pop time of 2.15 during the defensive session with us. The receiving can be softened and he can continue to work on securing the catch. The bat has an exit velocity of 81 mph as physical strength gains are warranted. The setup is wide in base and he uses a no stride approach. The hands work free and he maneuvers the barrel very well. He showed a good approach in batting practice and during game play. He is a good prospect in the 2023 class, and he could flourish with strength gains.
