James Clark: RHP/SS, (2022) out of Algonquin Regional, MA. is a projectable 6-foot-2, 215-pound right-handed pitching prospect. On the mound, Clark showed a quick, higher ¾ slot that produced an electric fastball that sat 87-88 MPH (Max spin 2203; Avg 1991) with late arm side run. He works out of a quick, up-tempo delivery. He gets to a good position at the top, separates well and creates a good line to home plate. Clark also showed a hard, tight slider 76-78 MPH  (Max spin 2018; Avg 1904), a 12/6 curveball 71-72 MPH (Max spin 1876; Avg 1862) and a heavy changeup 74-76 MPH.  He showed extremely well at the event. The stuff is there and his best days are in front of him.

6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 82-84 mph with arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch was 68-70 mph and can be shortened down for more swing and miss opportunities. The  changeup is a work in progress as he is still developing the pitch. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is solid in tempo, coil at the top and he comes off his tracking as he makes his way into foot strike. The arm works free and clean. The post foot is on top of the rubber causing forward lean. The command of his pitches needs to improve but the overall skill set is there to be a good prospect on the mound.

6-foot-2, 180-pounds, longer, larger athletic frame. The shoulders are broad with a wider back. A two-way player, at the plate, hits from the right-side, more of an open wider setup, loose relaxed hands at the shoulders. Small controlled leg kick, gains ground with stride foot. The swing is fluid, is level through the zone, finishing higher with two hands, approach is more middle to pull side. The exit velocity was clocked at 85 mph, and ran a 7.96 sixty-yard dash. At the third base, shows soft hands, moves well to glove side, the arm strength is above average clocked at 85 mph, with real good carry and flight to the baseball. Off the mound, bigger rocker step, higher leg raise with coil to it, getting loaded up on the backside. The arm action is long and clean on the backside, working out of a natural slot. The fastball touched 84 mph, located to both sides. Spins the breaking ball at 68 mph, good top to bottom break, with feel for a turn me over change up at 73 mph. Projects for em off the mound, good looking arm in the class of 2022.

Exit Velocity: 85 mph

Arm Velocity: 85 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.96
