The weight gets to the backside and the hands push back into a good position. The swing plane is simple and flat. He had a solid round of BP, producing consistent contact.
Defensively, the feet were active pre pitch. Once the ball was hit, the feet adjusted well and got him into a good fielding position. He was balanced, with the glove relaxed out in front. As he fielded the ground ball, the glove worked into the midsection with the off-hand covering the ball. He moved well through the ball and got into a good throwing position. The arm swing was clean, and was 54 mph across the diamond.
