Carrazza is a 5-foot-6, 160 pound right-handed hitting middle infield prospect. He hits out of a wide, slightly open stance with the hands set closer to his face. The load is short and gets him into a good launch position. As the swing begins, the bat-head takes a direct path to and through contact and produces a max exit velocity of 94 MPH. He showed a quick bat and the ability to drive the ball to the pull side during the batting practice
Defensively, Carrazza was 78 MPH on his throws from the infield. The feet are light and allow him to move well. He gets into a fundamental fielding position and the hands are soft transitions through the ground ball. He works through the ball well and creates a direct line with the target. He maintains that line as he finishes through the play.
The 5-foot-6, 147 pound right-handed hitting infielder had a tee exit velocity of 84 mph. The initial set-up is balanced, slightly open with the hands set on the lower side. The load is short and gets him into a good position to hit. As the swing begins, the bat head takes a direct path to and through the baseball. He showed a quick bat during the BP and the ability to drive the ball to the pull side.
Defensively, the feet are moving prior to the ball being hit. At contact, the actions to get into the fielding position are good. He breaks down under control, with the gove in a relaxed position. Once the play is made, he works through the ball well and stays in line with the target. The arm is clean and was 70 mph across the diamond.
