7.18.18

6-foot-5, 185-pound right-handed pitcher who just recently converted from being a catcher. The arm works well, above ¾. The delivery is online with his feet and he shows the ability to make adjustments. The glove pull is present, pulling him off track at times. The lift is athletic and quick in tempo. The fastball touched 84 mph, arm side action to it. The spin pitch is a slider, sat at 72-73 mph. The pitch could be an above average pitch at the next level. The changeup is a work in progress. Good prospect on the bump.

6-foot-5, 185-pound right-handed pitcher. Converted catcher, who hasn't pitched a ton up until this point of his life. The upside is tremendous as he has good arm speed and leverage. The fastball touched 83 mph, arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is 73 mph, solid in shape. The changeup is 78-79 mph, and needs to be tweaked so it can develop appropriately. The delivery is offline with his feet, and the tempo is quick. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to be aligned. The arm is short on the backside, will lengthen out the more his pitches. I think this guy could be a serious guy on the mound with coaching and innings. Big follow for me.

6-foot-5, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher, showed good flexibility and feel at the event. Big and athletic catcher, threw 78 down to second base in the workout, slight drop in slot as he throws down to the bag. Pop time of 2.12 as the feet and quickening the transfer can improve. Showed solid receiving skills at the event and has good flexibility behind the dish. Did not run at the event, due to a bad back. He played through some pain at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 86 mph. Hits out of a wide base, high-handed approach. The hands work clean and free however the direction of the barrel goes out and around to contact. Shortening the path to be more direct to contact will help him immensely. Doubled during game play.

Tee Exit Velocity- 86 mph

Catchers Velocity/Pop Time-78 mph/2.12
