Schick is a good looking, right-handed hitting versatile prospect. He hits out of a balanced, square stance. The hands are relaxed just off the back shoulder. He shows good hands at the plate as the bat takes a direct, flat path through the hitting zone, producing a lot of solid line drives. In the outfield, Schick showed athleticism. His exchange is clean and the arm is quick. In the infield, he moves well. The feet are good, the hands are soft and he moves through the ball well. He also had a vertical of 56 cm.
