On the mound, the left-hander sat at 77 with a true fastball. The slot is higher than ¾ which forces him to push his head to the side a little as the arm comes through. The breaking pitch is soft at 65 but had the right shape to it. The changeup had deception to it at 69 and should be a good pitch for him as he develops. He does show the ball behind his back as he gets into his arm swing, leading to a longer arm path. The delivery is repeated as it is slow and mechanical. As a positional player, he ran a 4.68 down the line. Threw 82 from the outfield, shows he has the arm strength that will eventually translate to the mound. Offensively, he hit out of a wide base setup, with a high elbow approach. The swing is long, as the tee exit velocity is 74.
