8/12/19:�An upcoming 5th year senior at Northeastern this fall, Murphy impressed with 2.2 scoreless innings of relief with four punchouts during a mid-July appearance against Falmouth. Pitching from a high three-quarter slot he paired an 88-91 mph cutting fastball with a 92 mph tailer, running it away from left-handed batters. Also showed two average secondary offerings in both his 79-82 mph curveball and 80-83 mph changeup. The 11/5 breaker was tight with above average depth at 79-82 mph. He set up his fastball with both his curve and change, while garnering swing/miss from all three pitches. He threw any pitch in any count and kept hitters off-balance throughout. Murphy finished the Cape season with a 25 strikeouts in 24.1 IP. (Seifert)
