Da Silva is a 6-foot, 170 pound left-handed hitting middle infield prospect. He hits out of a narrow, slightly open stance with the hands set high and near the face. He uses a quick stride and a flat, quick stroke to work the bat-head through the hitting zone, producing a lot of hard contact and a max exit velocity of 87 MPH.
Defensively, Da Silva was 76 MPH on his throws, showing fluid actions in the infield. The feet are light and allow him to break down into a good fielding position. As he transitions through the ground ball, the hands are soft and he creates a good line with the target. His arm-swing is longer and finishes well through the play.
On the mound, Da Silva uses a big leg kick to get to his balance point. Once there, he separates and gets into a long, high arm-swing that yields a fastball with downward action and sits 74-74 MPH. The breaking ball sits 64-66 MPH with good spin and shape.
