6-foot-3, 195-pound right-hander out of the New England Ruffnecks program. Showed the best velocity at the event. The fastball touched 90 mph with heavy action. Controlling the ball and throwing strikes needs to improve. The spin pitch has excellent shape to it, sitting at 80 mph. The stuff itself is outstanding, the only question is if he can control his pitches. The frame is excellent, the arms are long and lanky. The delivery is athletic, coil at the top of the lift, and drive to the plate. The front side of the body runs away from the plate. Tracking the front shoulder to foot strike will help his control and extension. Needs to be linear with his feet as well. Tons of potential in this pitcher, great student as well.

Impressive jump in stuff by this young man since the last time I saw him. The fastball is now, 85-86 mph with good sink and action to it. The command of it needs to improve but this guy is going to throw very hard at some point. The breaking ball has a legit shape to it, 75-76 mph as well, needs to be thrown in the zone more often. The changeup is a work in progress, sitting at 80-81 mph. The delivery needs a little tweaking, as he is very stretched out at release. The tracking of the shoulders needs to improve, he pulls off his target too soon. Tries to do too much with his effort in the game, with his length, he should focus on extension and let the arm do the rest. 1.2 to the plate in the stretch. Big time follow.
9/27/15
Long and lanky right-handed pitcher who pitches out of a slightly higher than ¾ delivery. The arm path is long and works well. He has an easy leg lift and good direction with his feet. The front arm does leave direction to soon as he spins off the target. Frame is good and should fill out rather nicely as he ages, definitely a guy to follow. Fastball got to 79 and had ride to it. The breaking ball is big and has very good action and depth to it. The velocity of it got to 71 and shows a huge amount of promise. The changeup is a work in progress. Good amount of upside in his body and his arm, strength and maturation are the key.
