Malik Ibrahim: SS/2B, (2026) Belmont Hill School, MA. 5-foot-9, 150-pound. (57.2 mph bat speed average). (18.4 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced quiet stance with a tight load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed was developing, showed a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 71 mph; shows consistent feet, sure hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. (Max spin ; Avg ).
Ibrahim is a young, right-handed hitting infield prospect. He hits out of a square, balanced stance with the hands relaxed just off the back shoulder. The load is clean and the bat takes a simple, flat path through the hitting zone. During his rounds, Ibrahim hit a lot of line drives and used the middle of the field. Defensively, Ibrahim showed good feet and soft hands in the infield. He moves well laterally and finishes through the ground ball in line with his target. He also had a vertical of 64.3 cm.
