Kulpa is an athletic 6-foot-1, 170 pound prospect.  The right-handed hitting infielder showed quick hands and the ability to drive the ball, especially to the pull-side.  During the event, he showed that potential early off the tee, with an exit velocity of 83 mph. The stance is athletic, with the bat resting on the back should.  The load is controlled and gets him into a strong position to hit. The bat-head takes a direct path to and through contact, highlighting his strong hands. He extends through contact and remains balanced.

Defensively, he showed good actions in the middle of the diamond.  The feet are light and glide to a balanced fielding position. The glove is relaxed out in front as he fields.  As he transitions through the ground ball into the throwing position, the soft hands are evident. He gets to a strong position to throw, in line with the target.  During the event he was 73 mph across the diamond. He finishes through his throws and showed a quick arm-swing.

Kulpa shows athleticism on both sides of the ball.  His actions in the middle were fluid and his swing has a chance to be special.
