Max Kasper: OF/RHP, (2023) Needham High School, MA. 5-foot-11, 178-pound physical frame. Athletic in the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 92 mph. (71.3 mph bat speed average). (23.5 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a rhythmic load, then used a short stride. Has quick bat speed, simple flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up multiple balls with a lot of loud contact. Pull side approach. Athletic from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 82 mph; had a clean exchange, smooth athletic footwork, and sure hands. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot.


Max Kasper: 3B/RHP, (2023) out of Needham, MA. is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound two-way prospect. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 81 MPH. Kasper hits out of an athletic, balanced stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. The bat takes a flat path to and through contact, leading to a lot of solid contact. In the infield, Kasper was 79 MPH on his throws across the diamond. As he worked through the ground balls he showed smooth feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. In the 60-yard dash, he recorded a time of 7.2. On the mound, Kasper used an over-the-top angle to produce a fastball that sat 80-81 MPH with late run. The delivery is simple and allows him to get balanced at the top. As he separates the arm swing is clean but begins to open a bit with his chest causing him to fall toward his glove side. Kasper also featured a changeup (73-75 MPH with sinking action and a slider (69-71 MPH) with slurvey action.

Aggressive approach. Above average while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 78 mph; shows athletic feet, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action.

Body: 5-foot-11, 175-pound solid frame.

Hit: (RHH) Started in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Quick bat speed. Level finish, flat swing. Aggressive approach. 

Power: 86 mph exit velocity. 

Defense:  (IF) Sure hands, athletic footwork, clean exchange. Above average.  Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. 

Arm: 78 mph infield velocity. Quick arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 



5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitting infielder. He ran a 7.37 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is online and athletic. The feet remain active through the process. The arm is long on the back side, as it needs to be shortened to play in the middle of the field. He threw 77 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 82 mph as physical strength gains are needed. The setup is even in base and he gains ground during the process. The path is long, two hand finish and shows gap to gap ability.
