The swing begins with a knee slide to allow the weight to get stacked over the back leg. The bat path is a quick, flat path through the hitting zone producing a max exit velocity of 82.6 MPH. During batting practice he showed the ability to spray line drives all around the field. also ran a 7.65 second sixty.
Defensively, Germain was nursing an arm injury, so he did not throw during this event. He did show light feet as he moved to get into a good fielding position. He moves well laterally and the hands are soft as he transitioned through the ground ball.
