5-foot-9, 145-pound right-handed hitting infielder who has improved a great deal since the last time we saw him. Ran a 4.5 down the line on his dig to first base. The glove is solid and the movements are athletic. The prep steps to and through the ball need to be added into the defending portion of his game. Threw 74 mph across the diamond. Tee exit velocity of 83 mph. Starts with an even footed start, front foot open. Uses a leg lift as he steps into the ball as it approaches. The path is long and uphill. Uses a 1-handed finish approach to the swing. Doubled in game play.

Right-handed hitting infielder, also throwing from the outfield as well. Threw 75 from the outfield with carry , the approach to the ball was proper. The infield velocity was 73 mph, the footwork is improving from the last time we saw him. The glove work needs to improve as he matures. At the plate, tee exit velocity of 77 mph. The setup is even with his feet, and the front foot steps into the swing as the ball approaches. The path is flat and long to the ball, and the finish is even after contact. His game is improving.
11/15/15
Right-handed hitting infielder who threw 65 mph across the diamond and showed a clean glove on ground balls. The prep steps and feet need some cleaning as he gets out from under his body. A quick prep step 101 should help him immensely. At the plate, tee exit velocity of 65 mph. The set up is feet inside his shoulders and closed off. The hands work cleanly as the barrel is maneuvered. The path is in and out of the strike zone too quickly, needs to be flattened out and the body needs strength.
