6-foot-1. 170-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 76-77 mph, arm side run to the pitch. Showed good command on both sides of the plate. The spin pitch is 64-65 mph, big in shape, as he needs to add fastball hand speed to the pitch. The changeup has the right shape to it, sitting 66-67 mph. The delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is above 3/4, The arm works free and easy. The tracking of the front shoulder needs better alignment as he comes offline prior to foot strike. Showed extremely well in the outing as he cruised through the hitters he faced.

3/17/19

6-foot-1, 160-pound right-handed pitcher.  Had a tee exit velocity of 79 mph.  The stance begins even with the hands positioned high above the back shoulder.  The load is a weight shift to the backside, a short stride and a push back of the hands.  The bat path is direct to contact and gets elevated through contact. On the mound there is a ton of potential!  The arm is fluid and clean, and the delivery is simple. The fastball was up to 80 mph with some late lift.  He takes a short step into the balance point and gets going toward the plate under control and in line.  with the fastball getting up to 80 mph.  The breaking pitch showed tight spin at 66 mph.  This is a very good looking prospect on the mound.  The delivery is fluid and the arm has life.  I’m really looking forward to seeing him develop.

3/11/18

6-foot, 150-pound right-handed pitcher and third baseman. Threw 67 mph during the defensive portion of the workout, the arm works long on the backside. The glove is soft, and the approach needs the addition of prep steps. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 75 mph. The setup is even on the bottom half, picks up and puts down the front foot as the ball approaches. The path is long to the ball, uses no load to separate the hands. The hands are quick, need to be setup to aid bat speed. On the mound, the fastball touched 73 mph. The spin pitch is 61 mph. The changeup is 66 mph, needs a spin fix. The delivery is online with his feet, slot is above ¾. The lift has forward lean to it, and the tracking is done properly. The post foot is on top of the rubber, needs to positioned in front of the slab.
