Parker Bean: SS/RHP, (2026) Agawam, MA. 5-foot-10, 140-pound lean athletic frame. Projectable and athletic in the box, Bean clocked an exit velocity of 86 mph. (67.0 mph bat speed average). (21.1 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a tight load, then used a toe tap stride. Bat speed is developing, uses an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Athletic projectable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 76 mph; shows developing feet, a natural exchange, and developing soft hands. Movements laterally were developing athletically and he fields the ball out front. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.94. Capable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, he had a consistent arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance point is tall with an on- line shoulders during delivery. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 74-75 mph; showed command arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2059; Avg 1953). His curveball (66-67) had sweeping action and glove side command. (Max spin 2088; Avg 1859).
