Patrick Rhodes: 1B, (2025) Xaverian Brothers, MA. 6-foot-3, 200-pound athletic projectable build. Above average and projectable at the plate, Rhodes clocked an exit velocity of 93 mph. (66.5 mph bat speed average). (21.7 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Has explosive bat speed, loose flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Athletic and capable while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 78 mph; has developing consistent feet, a natural exchange, and developing soft hands. Movements laterally were  athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the base and a high ¾ slot. Projectable on the mound, used a consistent clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing developing arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with recoil finish. Threw his fastball 78-79 mph; showed running action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 1941; Avg 1908). His curveball (65-66) has sweeping action and glove side around the zone control. (Max spin 2011; Avg 1990). His changeup (74-76) has gradual fading action and arm side control.
