Riasey Seng: RHP/2B, (2022) Lowell High, MA. 5-foot-10, 160-pound lean athletic frame. Athletic capable during batting practice, Seng had a max exit velocity of 83 mph. (65.70 mph bat speed average). (19.54 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced wide stance with a tight load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was average developing, displayed a long loose swing plane and high finish. In the round he found some barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Projectable athletic while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 71 mph; has soft developing hands, a clean exchange, and consistent developing feet. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. Clocked a time of 7.25 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable and capable on the mound, showed developing arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed consistent balance point with falling off shoulders. Lands open with a falling off finish. Showed arm side command and slight running action. (Max spin 1401; Avg 1245). Had glove side around the zone control and sweeping action on his curveball. (Max spin 1401; Avg 1365).
