7/16/19

5-foot-10, 175-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 7.3 sixty at the event. The defense has improved as the approach is much smoother. The hands and glove work clean, keeps the feet active throughout the process. Has the versatility to move around the infield if needed. Threw 76 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. The setup is wide in base, front foot steps into the swing. The path is uphill to contact, uses a 1-handed finish after contact. There is bat speed in the hands, needs to adjust the path.

5-foot-10, 175-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder who continues to improve his game.. Threw 75 mph. Fluid defender in the middle of the infield.  The feet are soft and athletic.  The hands work and get into a good fielding position. Moves well through the ball into the throwing motion. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 79 mph.  The set up was athletic and balanced.  The take away was quiet and short. The stride was simple and on direction.  The bat moved through the zone on a flat clean path.  Showed the ability to hit the ball gap to gap with balance throughout the swing.  He’s a fluided defender, with a chance to hit.  A guy to keep and eye on for sure.

5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Showed soft hands and a quick release at the workout. Threw 72 mph across the diamond with accuracy and good tempo. Could see him playing all 3 positions in the infield if the arm strength comes on. Ran a 7.4 sixty at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 82 mph. The feet start even in setup, slight bat wrap as he initiates the swing. The path is long to the ball, uses a 1-handed finish after contact. Made solid contact at the event and is athletic enough to make adjustments. I like his game and his ability.
