Ryan Dillon: C/SS, (2024) Marlborough, MA. 6-foot-1, 175-pound lean athletic frame. Projectable and athletic in the box, Dillon recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. (61.8 mph bat speed average). (19.5 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced wide stance with a small load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing quickly, had an uphill loose swing plane and high finish. Barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 70 mph; shows consistent developing feet, a clean natural transfer, and developing soft hands. recorded a pop time of 2.09-2.14. Athletic setup. Had consistent accuracy to the bag and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.32.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Ryan Dillon: C/3B, (2024) Marlborough, MA. 6-foot-1, 165-pound lean athletic build. Projectable raw in the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 79 mph. (57.97 mph bat speed average). (17.95 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a wrapping small load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing quick, displayed an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found some barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. While catching, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 68 mph; has a developing natural transfer, soft developing hands, and developing athletic feet. consistently had pop times of 2.14-2.20. Clean setup. Used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action while showing decent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.37.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Body: 6-foot-1, 165-pound lean athletic build.

Hit: (RHH) Projectable raw. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a wrapping small load, then used a small stride. Developing quick bat speed. Good extension on his finish, uphill loose swing. Gap to gap approach. 

Power: 79 mph exit velocity, average 72.95 mph. 57.97 mph bat speed average. 17.95 mph hand speed average.

Defense: (C) 2.14-2.20 pop times. Soft developing hands, developing athletic footwork, developing natural exchange. Projectable. Clean setup. 

Arm: 68 mph catcher velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, decent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.37 (60-yard).


7/07/20

6-foot, 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher and shortstop. Ran a 8.03 sixty at the event. The setup behind the dish is solid, threw 61 mph to second during the workout. The pop time is 2.19 as this will improve as he gets physically stronger. The receiving is trending in the right direction. The approach in the infield needs to incorporate prep steps to move through the baseball. He threw 64 mph across the diamond. The setup at the plate is even in base and the front foot gains ground as the pitch is thrown. The path is long to contact.
