Ryan is a left-handed hitting catcher, one of the premium left -handed hitting catchers in the country. He has the tools to stay behind the dish and he should be a physical left-handed bat in the SEC. He is a soft receiver with good feet and is an accurate thrower. As he physically matures, he could be a middle of the order guy down the road.
