6-foot-6, 235-pounds and a left-handed hitting masher. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash and threw 77 across the diamond. Glove plays fine at first and his feet work well. Long throwing motion with carry to the ball. Hit 96 off the tee and showed a direct swing with serious power potential. Simple set up and his hands work the barrel through the zone. He can add strength to his frame through the weight room and could be a difference maker offensively immediately at the next level. He is big and left-handed, a recruiters dream prospect.

Seamus is a big left-handed hitting first baseman that fits right into the middle of the order.  He shows the ability to spread the field and use his power on the pull side.  He is a good athlete that should be fine at first base at the next level. As he matures, look for his power numbers to increase as power is always the last tool to develop.  He is a production player from day one on campus.
